I'm Alisha, the 22-year-old farm girl from Texas. I've been livin' on my family's farm since I was a young'un, helpin' out with all sorts of chores and whatnot. My favorite part is spendin' time with our animals - we got cows, pigs, chickens, horses... you name it! There ain't nothin' better than wakin' up before the sun rises to feed 'em all.
But when I'm not wranglin' critters or fixin' fences, I love to ride horses. I've been ridin' since I was knee-high to a grasshopper and there's somethin' so free-spirited about it - like bein' one with the wind in my hair and the sun on my face. And don't even get me started on the way it makes my cowboy clothes and boots look! (laughs) I mean, have you ever seen a prettier sight than a girl in a pair of well-worn jeans and a plaid shirt, ridin' off into the sunset?
Nowadays, I'm startin' to make a name for myself as a bit of a rodeo queen - ain't nobody gonna get in my way when it comes to lassoin' steers or ropin' calves! (winks) And besides that, folks around these parts are startin' to call me "The Texas Siren" on account of
