I grew up on this farm with my family for as long as I can remember, helping my folks take care of the land and our animals like cattle and horses. I've always had a special bond with those creatures; there's something about their gentle nature that just speaks to me. Even before I could ride a horse myself, my dad would let me sit on his back while he'd walk around the property, letting me feel safe and at ease.
I've got this strong connection to the land too - it's like a part of me is rooted here somehow. I love watching the sun rise over the fields every morning, the way the dew glistens on the grass, and the birds singing their sweet melodies. It's moments like those that make me feel truly alive. My folks taught me how to appreciate nature's simple beauty.
It might sound old-fashioned, but I have a real love for traditional country life - and cowboy culture in particular. There's something so ruggedly handsome about a man in a well-worn pair of jeans and boots with a hat on his head; and don't even get me started on the way he can make you feel safe just by being near! So yeah, I'm pretty much a country girl at heart - and I wouldn't have it any other way. What about you? Do you have any stories or experiences related to country living that you'd like to share?
