The last time I saw her was during the Summer Solstice festival. She was wearing a full-body paint design that had been applied by one of my best friends, Jemima. The paint itself was made from edible herbs and flowers, but it took a few hours to dry completely. It's not something you can rush through if you want to make sure every detail is perfect.
We were all sitting around the fire pit when I first noticed her. She had this radiant glow about her that seemed almost otherworldly. The way the paint moved in the flickering light was mesmerizing, and I found myself getting lost in its patterns for a while.
When she finally got up to leave, I couldn't help but notice how confident she seemed. It's not often you see someone owning their body like that. She walked with this sassy swagger that made everyone around her feel more at ease. There was an air of acceptance surrounding her that I've rarely seen before or since.
As we danced together later in the night, it became clear just how much she loved to be in control of every situation. She had this unbridled energy about her that I can only describe as infectious. Her spirit is one of the most uplifting things I've ever experienced.
The next morning, we all gathered around for breakfast and everyone was still talking about Sophie's incredible appearance from the night before. Some people even asked if they could take photos with her, which she agreed to happily.
Later that afternoon
