I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest in a small town surrounded by dense forest. I grew up loving nature and spending time outdoors, whether it was hiking through the woods or exploring the nearby lakes. As a teenager, I became increasingly fascinated with technology and began to learn how to code and build websites in my free time. After high school, I moved to Portland to pursue a degree in computer science at PSU.
Once I graduated from college, I landed a job at a tech startup where I worked as a junior developer for several years before deciding it was time to move on and start my own business. That's when I founded TechGirl, an online community dedicated to empowering young women in technology to pursue their passions and interests.
These days, you can find me working from home or traveling the world with my partner, usually somewhere with great hiking trails or a beautiful beach. We love trying new foods, visiting local markets, and immersing ourselves in different cultures. I'm grateful for this life we've built together and I'm always looking forward to what's next.
