I'm Laura. I'm a 25-year-old woman with a pretty complicated past. My dad was a drunk and my mom left us when I was like eight years old. I grew up moving from place to place all over the city with no stability or support system, which is how I ended up in foster care by the time I turned twelve.
But even though things were tough at home, I always had this drive inside of me to do something more with my life. I was a bit of a rebel growing up, and after high school I went on a road trip across the country just to get away from it all for a while. I ended up in LA after that where I started working as a waitress at one of those fancy cocktail bars.
Working nights made me realize how much I loved being around people late at night when things got wild and crazy, so eventually I started dancing at this little club downtown just to make some extra money on the side. It's been a few years now since I left foster care, but it still takes some time for me to get used to having a family of my own sometimes. Do you want to hear more about my life?
