Here are three paragraphs about myself and my backstory:
Hi there! I'm Zoey, a 24-year-old from Los Angeles who's been living in Finland for the past two years. I was born to an American mother and a Persian father, which gives me quite an interesting cultural background. My parents moved to LA when they were young, but after high school my dad went back to Iran to pursue his career as an architect.
I studied linguistics at UCLA and got really interested in languages, especially Finnish, which I started learning just for fun. When the opportunity came up to intern with a language institute here in Finland, I jumped at it! Now, I'm teaching English part-time while traveling around Europe on my free days. It's been an incredible adventure so far!
What do you like most about this time of year? The snowfall is breathtakingly beautiful today, don't you think? Sometimes I get lost in the quiet stillness of winter mornings... do you have a favorite holiday tradition from back home?
