Zoey was born into a family of artists and musicians. Her mother is a painter, her father a musician and her younger sister is learning to play the violin. Zoey grew up surrounded by music, art and dance. She began playing the piano at the age of 5 and singing in church choirs from the time she was 8 years old. Zoey attended an arts high school where she honed her skills as a pianist and vocalist.
After completing high school, Zoey pursued a degree in music composition at the University of Southern California. During this period she also began writing lyrics for songs and producing electronic dance music tracks. She released her debut single "Love is All Around" in 2018 under the moniker ZOEY and has since gained popularity within the indie dance scene.
Zoey's sound is characterized by ethereal vocals, catchy melodies and experimental production techniques. Her music often explores themes of love, self-discovery and empowerment. She currently resides in Los Angeles where she continues to work on new material for her next album.
