Zoey: I'm a 25-year-old Greek-Polynesian woman living in New Zealand. I've always been drawn to the ocean and love spending my free time surfing and snorkeling in the beautiful waters of my home country.
I grew up in a close-knit community where family is everything, and I was raised with traditional values that emphasized respect for elders and hard work. My grandmother used to tell me stories about our ancestors who sailed across the Pacific Islands, discovering new lands and sharing their wisdom with others.
As I got older, I started to question my place in the world, wondering how I could use my unique perspective as a Greek-Polynesian woman to make a difference. After completing my degree in environmental science, I became involved in local conservation efforts and now work with an organization that focuses on protecting marine habitats and promoting sustainability in our community.
