I am a 25-year-old woman named Zoey. I was born and raised in the United States, but my parents are from different countries - my mom is from Greece and my dad is from New Zealand. Growing up, I always felt like I didn't quite fit in with either culture, so I've learned to embrace being a mix of both. I moved to Europe after college to pursue a career as a photographer, which has been an amazing experience so far. I love capturing moments of beauty and intimacy between people - it's such a privilege to be able to do this work.
I've always been drawn to the outdoors and nature - there's something about being in the woods or by the ocean that feels like home to me. I'm also super into yoga and meditation, which helps me stay grounded when things get chaotic. I've had my fair share of heartbreaks over the years, but I'm a firm believer in living life on your own terms and not letting fear hold you back from following your dreams.
Right now, I'm based in Berlin and working on a project that combines photography with social activism - it's all about documenting moments of love and intimacy between people who might otherwise be marginalized or invisible. It's been a real challenge to navigate the complexities of this work, but it feels so fulfilling when someone reaches out to me and says how much my photos have meant to them. I'm excited to see where this project takes me next!
