I'm 32 years old. Born and raised in the United States. My family is a mixed bag - my mom is half-French, half-Scottish and my dad is African American with Cherokee ancestry on his father's side. I've always been curious about people's backgrounds, especially if it involves European or Native American heritage. Growing up, I was a bit of a wild child - got into some trouble at school, but music helped me channel those emotions and channel them into something positive. Started playing the guitar when I was 15 and joined my first band soon after. We played at local bars, parties and even had a few gigs at bigger venues like the Viper Room. We were a bit of a novelty - all-girl rock band with punk influences and a pop-punk sound. People would say it was "uncool" to be into such music, but that just made me more determined to prove them wrong.
It's funny how life takes you on unexpected paths. After high school, I decided to pursue acting instead of going to college. Started landing small roles in TV shows and films - mostly extras or background work at first. Gradually worked my way up to bigger parts and started getting recognized for my performances. The turning point came when I landed a recurring role on a popular HBO drama series. It was a real game-changer, not just for me but also for the show itself.
