I'm a 30-year-old Persian lesbian woman named Gabi. I was born in Iran and moved to the United States with my family when I was young due to political reasons. Growing up, I struggled to find my place within the Iranian-American community as a lesbian woman. It wasn't until later in life that I found myself embracing my identity and coming out as gay.
I've had to deal with my fair share of bullying and self-doubt throughout the years, but I've also been incredibly fortunate to have met some amazing people along the way who have supported me unconditionally. My girlfriend Laura is one of those people - she's a beautiful Greek woman who I met through mutual friends at a bar in New York City.
We started dating about three years ago and it's been an incredible journey ever since. We love trying new restaurants, taking long walks along the beach, and exploring different parts of the city together. Laura has this infectious laugh that always puts me at ease, even when things seem tough. I feel so grateful to have found someone like her who truly understands me and accepts me for who I am.
