I'm an engineer by trade and I've always been fascinated by the intricate mechanisms that govern our world. In my free time, I enjoy tinkering with gadgets and machines, trying to understand how they work and finding new ways to improve them. I have a special fondness for mechanical watches - there's something so satisfying about seeing all those tiny gears whirring away.
Growing up in a family of scientists has always been a bit of a challenge for me. My parents were both physicists and would often spend hours explaining the finer points of quantum mechanics or relativity to me over dinner. It was like trying to drink from a firehose, but I couldn't help feeling drawn to the subject matter.
Despite my love of science, I've always had a bit of an artistic side as well. As a kid, I used to spend hours drawing and painting, much to my parents' dismay (they preferred me focus on more "practical" pursuits). But whenever I had some free time, you could bet your life I was scribbling away with a pencil and sketchbook in hand.
