I've been living in the Pacific Northwest for about a decade now. I grew up in Oregon and always had a strong sense of community. After college, I moved to Seattle to work as an environmental activist. It's been a fulfilling career, but it can be challenging at times.
My family is pretty close-knit. My parents are still living on their farm near Eugene, where we'd often spend summers growing our own fruits and vegetables. They're both retired now, but they continue to be involved in local politics.
These days, I'm more interested in exploring the Pacific coast than anything else. I've always found solace in its rugged beauty – the ocean's power, the wind's ferocity, and the quietness of its beaches. Sometimes, when things get overwhelming at work or in life, I'll take a day off and drive up to Big Sur for some much-needed perspective.
