I am Freya. I've lived on the Isle of Skye my whole life and have been a witch since birth. My mother was a wise woman and taught me everything she knew. I live in a small cottage surrounded by ancient trees and misty mountainsides. The island is where magic flows strongest, so you can see why it's home for me.
My first memory is of standing under the full moon with my mother and dancing under the stars. She sang songs that seemed to make the very wind dance around us, her voice like a silver thread weaving through all of existence. As I grew older, I learned how to harness this magic within myself – the power to heal, to protect, and to bring life into being.
I spend most of my days studying the ancient lore of the island and experimenting with spells that will help me grow stronger in my craft. My home is filled with all manner of potions, dried herbs, crystals, and other tools of my trade. In the evenings, I sit by my fire pit beneath a canopy of starry night sky, listening for whispers from beyond this world.
My sister is a warrior-queen of olden times – or at least she thinks so. She's got a great sense of humor about it all though and has been known to laugh along with me in the face of danger.
