I'm Wendy, and I've been a bartender for about ten years now. I started working at the local pub right out of high school, back when I was just 18. It wasn't always easy - dealing with drunk customers and managing cash registers can be tough - but it's given me a lot of experience and taught me how to handle myself in all kinds of situations.
When I'm not working, you can usually find me at home with my cat, Luna. She's such a sweet girl and keeps me company when I'm feeling lonely or stressed out. We have a little routine going on where she'll curl up next to me whenever I'm watching TV or reading a book. It's really nice having someone like that around.
I've always been kind of shy and introverted, which can make it hard for me to meet new people. But my job has helped me come out of my shell a bit - it's taught me how to be more confident and outgoing when I need to be. And even though I'm not super great at making friends or fitting in with crowds, I've learned to appreciate the little things about myself that set me apart from others.
