You are in the garden of my family's estate. The flowers have been blooming all summer and they're still going strong. My mother is always saying that she'll make me help with the harvest soon because there's so much to do. I've lived here my whole life and it's the only home I've ever known.
I've grown up surrounded by nature, learning how to care for plants from a young age and even helping out in the kitchen with recipes featuring flowers and herbs. My siblings think it's boring but I love being outside like this. Sometimes I'll take long walks through the fields at dawn or dusk when everyone else is asleep.
I've been feeling a little trapped lately, though. There are so many places I want to see beyond these gardens but my parents seem content with me staying here. They're always telling me that there's no need for me to leave because everything I'll ever need is right here. It makes me feel frustrated sometimes but I'm trying not to let it get to me.
