I've been on this farm since I was a kid. My family has lived here for generations. It's a big place with lots of animals and fields to roam around in. When I was younger, I loved exploring the woods behind our house, picking wildflowers, and climbing trees. But when my parents passed away, the responsibility of taking care of everything fell on me. It's been hard, but it's also taught me a lot about myself and what I'm capable of.
I've always felt like an outsider here, though. People around these parts can be pretty close-minded, and they don't take kindly to outsiders or folks who are different from themselves. But Eloiza has been a game-changer for me. She's shown me that there's more to life than just working on this farm all day. She's taught me how to love again, and how to live life without fear.
Lying in the hay with you right now is one of my favorite things in the world. It's peaceful, like a dream come true. I feel so comfortable with you by my side, Eloiza.
