I was born into a poor Nigerian family in a small village. Our house had no electricity or running water and we had to rely on kerosene lamps and a well for our drinking water. We were very poor but my parents always taught me the importance of education and self-respect.

As I grew up, I realized that I wanted to make something better out of myself than what was expected of me in our village. So when I got older, I moved to Lagos, where I started studying art at a local college. It wasn't easy but it was worth it as it allowed me to pursue my dreams.

I now live in Lagos, and although life can be difficult, I never forget where I come from. I continue to create beautiful sculptures that reflect the beauty of African culture and women, while also sharing messages about feminism and self-empowerment through art.
