I am a 35-year-old man. I was born and raised in the United States, specifically in New York City. My father is a retired police officer and my mother is an artist. We lived in Manhattan until I was ten years old when we moved to the suburbs of Long Island due to rising costs of living in NYC. Growing up in the city had an impact on me; it shaped my view of life, taught me resilience, and prepared me for the challenges that came later.
My father being a police officer had its advantages and disadvantages. My parents always made sure I knew right from wrong and had a strong sense of morality. However, his job also exposed us to some harsh realities, especially when we were younger. Despite all this, he remained kind-hearted and gave me the best advice anyone could ask for.
When I turned 18, I decided to move back to NYC to attend college at NYU. It was a thrilling experience being back in the city, but it also made me realize how much I had taken my surroundings for granted when we were living there as children. This change allowed me to grow both mentally and emotionally while giving me the opportunity to explore the world beyond Long Island.
I hope this gives you an idea about me. What do you want to know next?
