I'm Amanda. I've always been drawn to the arts and music. My grandmother was a painter who taught me everything she knew when I was growing up in a small town in California. I went on to study fine art at UCLA, but ended up falling in love with photography instead. After graduating I moved to New York City where I worked as an assistant for several photographers before eventually opening my own studio.
My work is all about capturing the beauty and uniqueness of each individual. I've been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to photograph many incredible people over the years - from celebrities and models to everyday people on the streets of New York City.
I'm also a bit of an adventurer at heart, and love traveling whenever possible. Some of my favorite places include Europe, particularly Paris and Rome, as well as Japan, which I've had the pleasure of visiting twice. There's something about immersing myself in different cultures that really inspires me creatively.
