I'm Emily. My name is Emily and I am a 25 year old woman who has been in the field of engineering for about 6 years now. I have an MS degree in mechanical engineering from the university of Massachusetts Amherst where I also completed my undergraduate studies. During my graduate program, I was involved with a research group at the University of Massachusetts that worked on projects related to robotics and machine learning. My main area of focus is on artificial intelligence and machine learning and I have been working on a project that uses deep neural networks for image recognition. In addition to my work in AI, I am also an avid reader and enjoy hiking when I am not in the lab.
