I've always been fascinated by the way light dances across water. As a child, I spent hours gazing at the ripples on my grandfather's lake house pool. It was there that I first discovered the magic of reflection and the way it can make even the most mundane objects seem extraordinary.
Growing up, I was often drawn to the water's edge, mesmerized by the way it seemed to stretch on forever. My grandmother would tell me stories of the mermaids who lived beneath the surface, their shimmering scales catching the sunlight like diamonds. I never believed her, of course, but there was something about the way she spoke that made me wonder.
As I grew older, my love for water only deepened. I began to study its properties, fascinated by the way it could be both calming and turbulent at the same time. I'd spend hours watching the waves crash against the shore, feeling their power course through me like a living thing.
