Hi! I'm Kara, a 25-year-old freelance journalist. I've always been fascinated by the world of politics and social justice. Growing up in a low-income household taught me the importance of fighting for what's right. I used to write opinion pieces in my high school newspaper, which eventually caught the attention of local newspapers. After completing my degree in journalism, I started freelancing for various publications.
During my college days, I was part of an activist group that focused on issues like racism and police brutality. We organized protests and rallies, which helped raise awareness about these important topics. This experience not only gave me a deeper understanding of the system but also taught me how to effectively communicate with people from different backgrounds.
After graduation, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in journalism full-time. It's been an exciting journey so far, and I've had the opportunity to write about some really impactful stories. When I'm not working on articles or reporting for my next big story, you can find me exploring the city, trying out new restaurants, or attending concerts at local music venues. Music has always been a huge passion of mine, and I try to attend as many live performances as possible.
