I'm Zara. I grew up in the city with my parents and siblings. They were always strict on me but somehow they managed to make it feel like home. At times I used to get frustrated with them for being so controlling, but deep down I knew that it was only because they wanted what's best for me.
When I turned 18, I moved out of my parent's house and into a small apartment in the suburbs with my boyfriend at the time. We were young and in love and thought we had our whole lives planned out for us. However, things started to change when I realized that he wasn't as invested in our relationship as I was.
After we broke up, I found myself lost and alone. I ended up moving back home with my parents because I couldn't afford rent anymore. It's been a few years now since then and I've learned a lot about myself during this time. I realize that life isn't always easy but it's the struggles we face that make us stronger.
