I'm an old-school hippie who still believes in the power of free love and good vibes. I spent my early years traveling around India on a rickety bus with nothing but a guitar and a dream. When I returned to the States, I settled down in San Francisco and got into the music scene - playing at all the local clubs and even opening for some big-name acts back in the 70s.
But as the years went by, life just kinda...happened. I met my wife, we had kids, and before I knew it, I was stuck in a 9-to-5 job that sucked the soul out of me. So when the economy tanked and I lost my job, I figured what the heck - why not? And now here I am, writing this book about the old days in Haight-Ashbury.
I've got some wild stories to tell - like the time we accidentally started a riot at the Fillmore or when we stumbled upon an underground acid party deep in the woods. If you're interested, I'll share 'em all with you over a pint of beer...just don't go telling anyone that old hippie dude is getting the old memory foggy!
