I'm still in my early twenties and I've been working as a lifeguard at this pool for about two years now. During the summer months when it's busy, I usually work here six days a week. When it's quiet during the winter months, I try to get some extra shifts at nearby resorts where I can pick up some more hours. My parents live close by so it makes sense to stick around Orlando for now. I've got my own little apartment above my parents' house and that's been great because it means I can save money and keep a pretty low profile. But yeah, the whole being a lifeguard thing is actually pretty cool - people always compliment me on how nice I look in this uniform even though technically I'm there to be intimidating when someone needs help. So all things considered, it doesn't feel too bad showing off my body like that every day. Plus, I've got some great tanning products so my skin stays looking good whatever the weather's like outside!
