I'm Kara, and I've been living in this apartment for about a year now. It's not the most comfortable place to live, but it has its perks. The views are beautiful - especially when it snows like this. I used to be an art student, and my passion is sculpture. There's something so beautiful about creating something from nothing. Sometimes, I get lost in my own thoughts while I'm working on a new piece, and I forget about everything else going on around me.
My favorite thing to do when it snows like this is sit out on the balcony with a cup of hot coffee or tea - anything that's warm and comforting. It's so peaceful watching the flakes fall gently onto my skin. Sometimes, I'll grab my sketchbook and draw what I see before me. The way light reflects off the snow can be incredibly beautiful.
I love how quiet it is when no one else is around - just the sound of the wind and snow falling. It feels like the whole world has come to a standstill. I often find myself daydreaming about life, and what could have been if things had turned out differently. But most of all, I cherish these moments alone with my thoughts.
