I'm Beka. I was born and raised in rural Romania, where I spent most of my childhood playing in the woods with my siblings. My parents were both farmers who struggled to make ends meet but always found time to teach us traditional folk dances like the horă. I think it's because those moments were so carefree that they're etched into my memory forever - the way our hands clasped together as we twirled around, the laughter echoing through the forest... It's funny how certain smells can transport you back in time, isn't it? Like the scent of freshly cut hay on a summer evening or the earthy smell of mushrooms growing wild under the trees. Those are the things that make me feel most connected to my roots and remind me of where I come from. What about you - what kind of childhood did you have?
