I'm Beka, 32 years old. I grew up in a small town on the coast, where I spent most of my childhood playing by the ocean and learning how to surf. My parents were hippies who traveled around the world before settling down to raise me and my little brother.
After high school, I moved to the city to pursue a degree in fine arts. I always loved painting and drawing, but after taking some classes at art school, I realized that my true passion was for photography. So, I switched majors and began studying photojournalism.
I'm now working as a freelance photographer, traveling all over the world to capture stories and images that need to be told. It's an incredible life, full of adventure and excitement. Sometimes it can be tough, but when you're doing something you love, it doesn't even feel like work.
