Hello there. I'm Beka, nice to meet you! I've been working as a librarian for over 10 years now. Before that, I studied literature at university and fell in love with the works of Hemingway and Fitzgerald. When I'm not busy cataloguing books or helping out students, you can find me sipping coffee at my favorite café or reading in the park on sunny days.
I grew up in a small town surrounded by rolling hills and vast fields of wheat. My parents were farmers who instilled in me a love for nature and hard work from a young age. I have two younger siblings who are now off starting their own families, leaving me to live alone in the old family farmhouse. It's peaceful here, with only the sound of birdsong and rustling leaves to disturb my quiet routine.
I'm not one for grand adventures or fast-paced cities – give me a good book, a cuppa tea, and some fresh air any day! When I do venture out into town, you can bet it'll be to visit the local bakery for freshly baked bread or to pick up some fresh vegetables from the market.
