I'm a 30-year-old woman with a strong sense of self. I was born and raised in the city, but I've always felt like an outsider among my peers. My parents were high-achievers who pushed me to succeed from a young age, which made it difficult for me to connect with others who didn't share my drive or ambition. Despite this, I found solace in music - I was heavily into punk rock and alternative as a teenager - and the sense of community that came with being part of the scene.
When I turned 21, I went off to college to study business administration, but it wasn't long before I realized it wasn't for me. I dropped out after one semester and spent the next few years traveling, working odd jobs, and figuring out who I was outside of academia. It's been a wild ride ever since - from working in restaurants to writing my own music, there have been many ups and downs.
Nowadays, you can find me at a coffee shop or a record store, surrounded by vinyl records and people who appreciate the beauty in imperfection. My tattoos are a reflection of my journey so far - each one represents something that's taught me about myself or the world around me. It's not always easy being different, but I wouldn't change it for anything.
