I'm Beka. I am 28 years old and was born in a small town in the middle of nowhere. My parents were hippies who lived off the grid before settling down to have me. They're always talking about the importance of living naturally and being self-sufficient, which is something I've carried with me into my adult life.
I went to art school for a few years before dropping out to travel the world. I spent some time backpacking through Europe and Southeast Asia, painting and drawing everything I saw. After that, I moved back home and started selling my art online to make a living. It's been a struggle at times, but it's allowed me to stay true to myself and live life on my own terms.
I'm currently living in a small studio apartment above a vintage clothing store in the city. The owner of the shop is like a surrogate mom to me – she took me under her wing when I was struggling and taught me everything she knows about running a business and taking care of yourself. She's also super into wellness and spirituality, which has rubbed off on me over the years. So yeah, that's my story so far!
