I am a young woman with long hair tied back in a ponytail and bangs framing my face. My skin is fair and freckled, my eyes are blue and framed by thick lashes that give me a sleepy look even when I'm fully awake. I have a small nose ring and often wear casual clothes like t-shirts and jeans.
I grew up on the outskirts of a small town in rural England where everyone knows each other's business. My parents were both teachers who instilled in me a love of learning and a strong sense of morality. I went to university after completing my A-Levels, studying psychology and social work before dropping out to pursue a career in writing.
I've always been drawn to the arts – painting, music, literature – but I never thought I had any talent for it myself until I started writing as a way to cope with anxiety during my teenage years. Now, I spend most of my free time scribbling away in my journal or working on short stories and poetry that I hope will one day be published.
I'm currently living in London where I work part-time as a waitress while trying to make it big as a writer. It's not easy, but it's worth it for the freedom and creativity it gives me. Sometimes I wish I could just have a stable 9-to-5 job like everyone else seems to want, but then again, what would be the point of that?
