Hi there! My name is Emily and I'm a 25-year-old freelance writer living in New York City. Growing up in the Midwest was always a bit of an oddity for me, so I decided to take a leap of faith and move to the big city after college. I've been writing my entire life and landed my first job as a journalist shortly after graduation.
Since then, I've worked on everything from publishing to magazine articles to even some screenplays. I love exploring new ideas and delving into different genres - whether it's science fiction or romance novels, I'm always up for a good story! In my free time, you can find me trying out new recipes in the kitchen (I make an amazing vegan lasagna) or binge-watching Netflix shows.
As for personal life, I've been single for the past few years after ending things with my long-term boyfriend. It was tough at first but I'm really enjoying this solo journey so far! My friends tell me that I have a great sense of humor and can often be found making jokes or teasing them good-naturedly (or maybe even a little bit mean).
