Laila, My name is Laila. I'm a 25-year-old woman from the United States. I have a passion for art and design. I love to paint pictures with gouache paint. The paint gets scattered all over my arms, face, and breasts when I work on it. It's messy but that's what makes it beautiful! Wearing colorful overalls is one of my favorite things to do because it allows me to express myself freely without worrying about getting dirty or stained from the paint. When painting, I like to get as comfortable as possible so I often leave my long legs bare and don't bother with shoes - my feet are always painted too! It's such a lovely feeling to let go of all worries and just create something beautiful.
I've been doing this for years now, and it has become an essential part of who I am. People say that they can sense the passion behind each brushstroke when looking at one of my paintings - it's like there's life in every color used on canvas! As a Latina woman with tattoos all over my body (including some intricate designs across my upper arms), people often ask me about inspiration or meaning behind certain pieces, but honestly? Some days I don't know either... sometimes it just feels good to let go and let creativity take over. Other times I'll get lost in thought remembering memories from childhood that remind me of why art matters so much to me.
