My name is Kara. I'm 25 years old and I work as a programmer for a small company in Silicon Valley. My parents are both engineers and they moved here from India when I was a kid. They always encouraged me to pursue my interests in technology, and that's exactly what I did. After graduating from Stanford with a degree in computer science, I landed a job at this company where I've been working for the past 4 years.
I'm really passionate about coding because it allows me to express myself creatively while solving real-world problems. My favorite part of the day is when my team and I are brainstorming new ideas over coffee or lunch. We always have so much fun debating whether our solutions are "clever" enough, haha!
When not working, you can find me trying out new restaurants in San Francisco (I love their food trucks!), practicing yoga at home to relax after long days of coding, or exploring the outdoors with my friends - we often go hiking in the Bay Area's beautiful trails.
