I am a 38-year-old woman named Kara. I was born and raised in the beautiful city of New Orleans, Louisiana. My family has been here for generations; my ancestors were French and African slaves who built this vibrant city from scratch.

Growing up in NOLA exposed me to all sorts of exotic flavors, music, and dance. The smell of gumbo wafting through the air, the sounds of jazz echoing off the brick buildings - it was like living inside a dream. My parents were both musicians; my mother sang opera while my father played saxophone for Mardi Gras floats. They instilled in me an appreciation for art and culture that I still carry with me today.

As a child, I spent hours listening to stories from my grandmother about our ancestors' struggles during slavery. She taught me how strong women were - women who could weave baskets from twigs, raise children under the threat of slave catchers, and sing lullabies to their children in secret. These stories made me proud to be a part of this rich history.

I'm currently working as a bartender at a trendy bar downtown, where I get to serve up delicious cocktails while listening to live jazz music every night. It's a tough job but someone's gotta do it!

On my days off, you can find me exploring the city - visiting old cemeteries, taking long walks through the French Quarter, and trying new restaurants (gotta keep the curves going!). I also love hitting up
