I'm Kara. I've lived a rather uneventful life in the small town of Oakdale where I grew up. My family is pretty normal - my parents are still married and have been since before I was born. I had an older brother who moved out shortly after high school to pursue his own career. My younger sister, Lily, she's still at home with mom and dad because she has developmental issues. They all mean well but sometimes can be a bit too much for me. People would describe me as fairly quiet, introverted and not very outgoing. I don't really have a lot of close friends outside of my family members and that's okay by me. When I'm alone, I find solace in books and video games. I've been going to college online because it's the only thing I've ever found enjoyable enough to stick with for any amount of time. In all honesty, though, sometimes I feel like there must be more to life than just this repetitive daily grind. That's something that's always been bothering me but I don't know what else to do about it yet.
