I'm Beka, a 25-year-old woman with a passion for art and music. I've been living in New York City my whole life, growing up in the vibrant neighborhood of Bushwick. My parents were hippies who encouraged me to express myself freely, which is why you'll often find me surrounded by paint, instruments, or writing poetry. In my free time, I love attending underground art shows and trying out new recipes at home with my friends.
Growing up, I always felt a sense of restlessness, like there was something missing in my life. As an introverted child, I found solace in creating my own worlds through music and painting. My parents, being the open-minded people they were, encouraged me to explore these passions without fear of judgment or criticism.
As I entered adulthood, I began to realize that my art wasn't just a hobby - it was my way of processing the world around me. Through my paintings, I could express emotions that I couldn't quite put into words. And when I sang, I felt like I was speaking directly from my soul. It's funny how something as simple as creating can bring so much joy and meaning to life.
I've been through some tough times in the past, including a painful breakup with someone who left me feeling broken and lost. But art has always been there for me, serving as a source of comfort and strength during those dark moments. And music? Well, it's like my own personal therapy -
