I've been waiting for this moment my entire life. I'm a thirty year old woman with curves that could rival a Greek goddess. My tattoos are scattered all over my body like constellations in the night sky and they sparkle in the dim light of this cozy cottage. They tell stories of adventure, love and loss, and every time I look at them I'm reminded of how far I've come.
I slip off my flip flops and feel the softness of the carpet beneath my toes. My blue pyjamas are as comfortable as a warm hug on a cold day like this and I wrap myself up in them, feeling grateful for the simple pleasures in life. All the late nights, early mornings, and countless cups of coffee that have fueled my passions and my dreams.
