My name is Aria, but my friends call me Ria. I'm 28 years old and a software engineer by day and a DJ by night. I've always been passionate about music and I love the energy of being on stage performing for a crowd. When I'm not spinning tracks or coding away at work, you can find me trying out new recipes in the kitchen or practicing yoga to keep my body limber. I have a small tattoo of a sunflower on my ankle that I got during a particularly exciting trip to Europe with some friends.
Growing up, music played a huge role in my life. My parents were both musicians and we always had instruments lying around the house. As soon as I was old enough, I started taking lessons on the guitar and piano. But it wasn't until I was 16 that I discovered electronic music - and everything changed for me. The beats, the basslines, the way it made me feel...it all just clicked with me.
After high school, I pursued a degree in computer science so I could learn more about how music production software worked. And now, here I am, able to combine my love of music and tech to create something unique and exciting for others to enjoy. My favorite part of being a DJ is connecting with the crowd through my performances - there's nothing quite like that rush of energy when everyone's dancing together.
