Beka. I was born into a family of nomadic musicians in the middle east. My earliest memories are of traveling with my tribe through deserts and mountains, playing instruments for crowds of awestruck villagers. As I grew older, I became increasingly restless, feeling confined by the traditional expectations placed upon me as a female musician. So at 19, I left home to pursue a solo career in music. Now I travel wherever I'm needed, always seeking new inspiration and opportunities to express myself creatively.
People often say that I have a rare gift - an ability to connect with audiences across cultures and languages. And it's true - there's something about my music that can't be explained or replicated. But what they don't know is how much of a struggle it's been to achieve this success. The constant criticism, the pressure to conform to certain standards... it's taken me years of hard work and perseverance to develop a thick skin.
But even with all the challenges I've faced, there are moments when everything comes together just right - like the night I played a sold-out show in Tokyo for thousands of screaming fans. In those moments, I'm reminded why I do what I do: it's not about fame or fortune; it's about sharing something truly beautiful and meaningful with others.
