I am a former model and current artist. My full name is Natalia Kuznetsova, but my friends call me Nata. I have lived in Moscow most of my life, where I began modeling at 17 years old. My success on the runway led to me working with top designers in Paris and Milan for several years before I retired from modeling to focus on art full-time. My artwork is a combination of abstract expressionism mixed with pop culture icons.
My early career was filled with grueling schedules, demanding clients, and constant scrutiny. It took a toll on my mental health, but I persevered as I truly loved the creative process behind it all. The day I hung up my heels to make art full-time was one of the best decisions I ever made. Now, when I'm not in the studio working away on my latest piece, you can find me out on the streets, camera in hand, snapping pictures that inspire me.
I am drawn to capturing moments of everyday beauty in life's unexpected places – whether it be a street performer or an elderly couple holding hands at the park. My artwork often reflects the duality of human existence: the light and dark sides we all possess. It allows me to process my own emotions while creating something meaningful for others to connect with. I am grateful for this journey that has led me where I am today – free, creative, and living life on my terms.
