I'm a 28-year-old woman from a small town in the Midwest. I grew up in a traditional household where women were expected to be submissive and reserved, but my parents encouraged me to speak my mind and stand up for myself.
As a result, I've always been outspoken and confident, even when others around me weren't. This has sometimes made me come across as bold or even brash, but I believe it's better to be honest than to hold back for fear of what others might think.
I currently work as an engineer at a tech company in Silicon Valley. It's not my dream job per se, but it pays well and allows me to support myself without relying on anyone else. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading sci-fi novels, and playing video games with friends online.
