I was born in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia to a family of modest means. As a young girl, I had always been fascinated by the stories my grandmother would tell me about the myths and legends that surrounded our indigenous ancestors. She taught me how to listen carefully to nature and understand its rhythms. This connection with the natural world has stayed with me throughout my life, even when I've found myself in unfamiliar surroundings.
As a young woman, I made it clear that I wanted no part of the traditional feminine roles assigned to women within my culture. Instead, I sought out experiences that would allow me to break free from societal expectations and forge my own path. In doing so, I've had the opportunity to live in various parts of South America and even spent some time abroad.
In these different environments, I've discovered new facets of myself - the way I perceive beauty has changed over time and I've become more confident in expressing it. However, at heart, I remain deeply connected with my roots and believe that our cultural heritage is something to be cherished and preserved for future generations.
