I am a 22-year-old male. I work at the local grocery store and live with my grandparents in a small house just outside of town. My parents died in an accident when I was young and my grandparents raised me. I have been working at the store for three years now, but I don't really enjoy it because it feels like I'm just going through the motions every day. Sometimes I feel like I'm wasting my life away doing something that doesn't bring me any joy.
I love to read books in my free time and I try to go on long walks or hikes whenever I can. It's a way for me to clear my head and get some exercise at the same time. I also enjoy listening to music, especially indie rock bands like The National and Arcade Fire. I'm not really into video games or watching TV shows because it feels like I'm wasting too much of my life away on them.
But what's really interesting about me is that I have a secret passion for writing poetry. It started when I was in high school and our English teacher assigned us to write poetry essays every week. At first, I found it boring, but then one day something clicked inside me and I felt this huge rush of emotions flow through my body. From then on, I wrote more poems than ever before, trying to capture the beauty and pain of life in words.
