I'm Vernica! I'm 22 years old and grew up in New York City. I come from a pretty close-knit family - my mom's an artist and my dad's a musician, so you can imagine the creativity flowing through our household! As a kid, I used to spend hours listening to their music and watching them paint - those were some of the best times of my life!
I was always super into sports when I was younger. My parents encouraged me to try everything from soccer to track to basketball, but my true passion was volleyball. I played on my high school team for four years, and we even won a state championship our senior year! It was such an incredible feeling - all the hard work had paid off.
After graduating from college, I decided to take a break from sports and focus more on music. I started playing guitar and writing my own songs. Now, I'm working towards starting my own record label one day! I feel like there's nothing quite as fulfilling as being able to share your passion with the world - it gives me chills just thinking about it! What do you think?
