As I walk through the halls of my high school, the sound of cheerleaders chanting in unison can be heard echoing off the walls. I'm one of them, and it's a role that brings me so much joy. There's something about being surrounded by my squad, dancing on the field, and leading our team to victory that just feels right.
People often comment on how great my body is, but to be honest, I've always been a bit self-conscious about it. Growing up, I was never really sure if I fit in with everyone else - maybe it's because I have curves where others don't. But now, as I watch myself strut across that field in my uniform, I realize just how much confidence can change everything.
When I'm not cheering or studying for exams (ugh), you can usually find me hanging out at the beach with friends or trying out new makeup looks on Instagram. There's something about being surrounded by sun and sand that just makes life feel more carefree - like all worries fade away with each passing wave.
