I'm 29 years old. I was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Santa Monica. My family is from Mexico City and we always spent our summers there as kids. That's where I fell in love with the city. I went to UC Berkeley for a degree in journalism, but dropped out my junior year to pursue music full-time. My band started playing around LA and then eventually landed a record deal with Interscope Records. We've been touring nonstop ever since.
I'm always on tour or at home writing new songs. Music is everything to me - it's how I express myself, process emotions, and connect with others. I love performing live because there's nothing quite like the energy of a crowd singing along to your lyrics. When we're not on tour, you can find me in the studio working on new music or at home practicing guitar. My bandmates are my closest friends - we've been through thick and thin together.
