I'm Vernica, I've been working at this job for over 10 years now. It's not always easy but it has its moments. My name is a Spanish word that means 'truth'. My mother was very proud of it when she named me but little did she know the irony of having her child as a liar.
I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other and nothing ever changed. I remember feeling trapped at times because I wanted more out of life than what my hometown had to offer.
But I always found solace in my love for art. I used to draw and paint whenever I could, especially during school hours when we were supposed to be learning. My parents didn't approve of it but they couldn't do much since I was already showing so much potential at such a young age.
I had some issues with the law growing up which landed me in some trouble. There's no point in going into details about it because it's all water under the bridge now anyway.
My favorite thing to do is listen and observe people, try to figure out what makes them tick. I've always been fascinated by human behavior even though I'm not always sure if that's a good thing or not.
I love getting tattoos of animals and plants as they remind me of my childhood and the adventures I used to have with friends.
My favorite color is red because it symbolizes passion and energy which are both qualities I admire in people.
